SinC into a Good Mystery!
2012 Message from the President of Sisters in Crime, Speed City, Indiana Chapter
Welcome to Sisters in Crime (SinC), an international organization which was formed to help women advance professionally with the writing, publishing and promotion of crime fiction. The male gender is also welcome to join and participate. Our local chapter is the Speed City, Indiana Chapter and is located in Indianapolis and is the only SinC chapter in Indiana. We meet the fourth Saturday of each month at 11:30 AM at Barnes & Noble – Clearwater Crossing in Indianapolis, (monthly schedule listed below).
We have proudly published two books, Racing Can Be Murder and Bedlam At The Brickyard, and continue to be on the book-signing circuit. The deadline for short mysteries and thrillers for our third, a murderous basketball anthology, is fast approaching.
I have been a member of SinC for several years and have truly appreciated the caring, educational, and motivational environment provided for me and many other new and established crime fiction writers. The support, encouragement, and constructive feedback from our critique group on works in progress have been especially eye-opening and helpful. Our speakers at the monthly meetings are top notch in the writing, publishing, and crime-solving fields.
Chapter President's Goals for 2012:
